Dr. Njabulo Sibanda
Dr. Njabulo Sibanda: Founder and President of Lindinjabulo Helping Hand Community Project (LHHCP)
  • Early Life and Roots
Born and raised in the vibrant township of Soweto, Jabulani, Dr. Njabulo Sibanda’s journey is deeply rooted in the resilience and communal spirit of his community. Growing up in a place rich with cultural heritage and social activism, he developed a profound commitment to uplifting others—a value that would later define his life’s work.
  • Education and Diverse Expertise
Dr. Sibanda’s academic and professional journey reflects a unique blend of cultural stewardship, technical mastery, and artistic expression:

Traditional Healing & Counseling: Certified in 1995, Traditional Medicine, Traditional Healing, and Spiritual Counseling, he integrates ancestral wisdom with modern therapeutic practices to address holistic well-being.

Theological Studies: Earned a Diploma in Theological Studies from Ikhaya African Instituted Churches (1997), grounding his community work in ethical and spiritual principles.
Security Leadership: Registered with PSIRA (Grade B, 1999), he combines technical rigor with a commitment to safety and accountability.
Arts and Culture: A 2006 graduate of the Gauteng Department of Sport, Arts, Culture, and Recreation’s Stepping Stones Dance Development Programme, he holds credentials in dance, drama, music, storytelling, and visual arts (GOMACC Entrance Level 1 & 2).
Technical Proficiency: Certified in Electrical & Instrumentation (2015) through JOINTMASTERS, with specialized training in substation construction, switchgear installation, motor control systems, and industrial electrical engineering. His expertise spans roles at major firms like TUBULAR ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENTATION, B & W Instrumentation & ELECTRICAL SERVICES, ELB CONSTRUCTION COMPANY ,IRITRON, and ENI.

Dr. Njabulo Sibanda’s career is a testament to his versatility, resilience, and unwavering dedication to community upliftment and professional excellence:
  • Youth Empowerment
15+ Years Mentoring Youth: As a choreographer and scriptwriter, Dr. Sibanda worked with schools across Soweto, directing stage dramas and choreographing cultural dances that celebrated local heritage.

Leadership Development: Served as Director of Injabulo Youth Club, fostering creativity, discipline, and leadership among young people.

NPO Collaboration: Partnered with non-profit organizations to train youth in beadwork, crafting, and entrepreneurial skills, empowering them to generate income through artisanal trades.

  • Entrepreneurship & Security Leadership
Security Sector Expertise:
Began as a Security Guard at Standby Security Company, later advancing to Armed Reaction Officer at BBR Security Services.

Supervised operations at Ilanga Security Services later Managed Security Operations as Site Manager at Stoneridge Shopping Centre.

Co-founded and managed Izinyosi Electrical Security Services as Company Manager, building it into a thriving enterprise.

  • Industrial Excellence
Electrical Engineering:
Worked as an HT Electrician in mining and construction, specializing in complex electrical systems, overhead line installations, and industrial automation.

Key projects included building substations, fiber optic installations, CCTV systems, motor control systems, and instrumentation.

Mastered advanced techniques in electrical infrastructure, including transformer installations and power distribution networks.

Dr. Sibanda’s multidisciplinary career reflects his commitment to bridging technical expertise with community-driven social impact. His journey embodies the belief that skills, mentorship, and innovation are foundational to sustainable development.
